  Tasks, Challenges & Significance of On-Air Promotion Campaigns in the 360°Context  
8 & 9 December 2010 at BR in Munich

In the context of this two-day event hosted by Eyes & Ears of Europe and Bayerisches Fernsehen in Munich, qualified experts from the fields of design, promotion, marketing and programming will use concrete examples to explore issues including: Corporate identity and on-air promotion – how recognisable do channel specifications have to be? The idea is what counts – is the story the only component of good promotion? Audio design and composition – how important is sound for promotion? Comprehensive, informative, entertaining – is this the only recipe for successful promotion? The image language is decisive – clear recognisability of TV stations through image choice and editing? Standard design or individual design – what is allowed, what makes sense? Recognisability through packaging – design as a quality criteria? Attractiveness is found in the unspectacular – local connectivity as USP? On-Air promotion for young and old – the problem of programme diversity. Target groups in changing times – is their image still appropriate?

This event is primarily aimed at employees of media and communication companies, (post) production firms, design studios, agencies and consultancies. Persons interested in the media, students and trainees are also very welcome. Please note that the number of participants is limited to a maximum number of 20.

The presentations will all be held in German.
