Studied communication design at the state-run Academy of Fine Arts in Stuttgart from 1984 to 1992 and specialised in media (trick film, photography, computer animation, TV design) (degree). Freelance TV designer for SDR, SWF, BR, 3sat and ARTE from 1985 to 1994. Designer at ZDF in Mainz since 1994. Development of ZDF?s Corporate Design department in leading position since 1996. Head of ZDF's Corporate Design department from 2001 to 2004. Creative director at Schweizer Fernsehen in Zurich since September 2004. At the same time, various teaching assignments for media design, e.g. as visiting professor at the University of Applied Sciences of Mainz and the Berufsakademie Ravensburg. |
